IRIDOLOGY-Iris is a tell-tale
Iridology is a quick, accurate, non-invasive, safe and painless system of health analysis through the coloured part of the eye, the iris. The health analysis is made through careful examination of different pigments and markings in the structure of the iris which reflect hereditary tendencies, genetic strengths and weaknesses, previous damage and its current state of resolution. It records information about the state and functioning of every organ of the body, as well as levels of inflammation and toxicity. This enables the underlying cause for symptoms to be detected and addressed. The greatest feature and main advantage of iridology over other forms of health screening, is that changes appear in the iris before the physical symptoms develop, so it may be possible to ‘nip it in the bud’.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
In the embryonic stage of development, the first cells to form are the neurons (basic cells of the brain and nervous system). The eyes start as part of the brain, then become detached but connected by the optic nerves. These are bundles of millions of neurons, blood vessels and other tissues. Anything that happens in the body will be reflected in the iris. It is made up of muscles, nerve endings and other tissues. These fibres and tissues respond to changes in body tissues via intimate connections manifesting a reflex physiology corresponding to specific tissue changes and locations. These effects manifest as localised colour changes in certain parts of the iris. We regularly find that indicators or areas of weakness found during Reflexology treatment are also indicated on Iridological examination, and vice- versa. The weave of the muscular structure of the iris can become retracted or atrophied (loss of thickness due to restricted blood and nerve supply) in a given area, which will correspond with or reflect the condition of a given organ or tissue. Depending on the depth, colour, shape and location of these ‘lacunae’, the appropriate diagnostic conclusion can be made. The Chart to Iridology is the map of the iris topography. This is used to identify precisely the area of the body showing a reflex effect in the iris structure. As well as examining the structure of the iris conventionally with an Iridology 6X magnifier, I employ photography and digital imaging technology to increase the accuracy and ease of examination. It also means that a record can be kept of the original state, and improvements after treatment may be demonstrated and tracked.
